The bag we wanted.
The studio we started.
Mensbaglab is based in Hong Kong, where we have our own hands-on studio dedicated to designing bags for men.
We felt that men had too few choices. Familiar shapes often came with the same familiar details. We wanted to add something of our own—a different proportion, a distinctive accent, a more personal way to carry.
So we started creating the bags we wanted to see. Our hope is simple: to find people who feel the same connection to our designs that we do.

We have our own design and handmaking capabilities. In our studio, we work through the shape, proportions and details of a bag, then bring those ideas into physical form.
Our workbench is where leather panels, handles, stitching and hardware come together. Working directly with the materials helps us consider not just how a bag looks, but how it feels and functions in everyday use.
Our main leather designs combine top-grain cowhide with microfiber synthetic leather. Our wider collection also includes PU, nylon, canvas, denim and DuPont paper, with materials selected to suit each design and everyday use. A refined finish, considered details and practical function guide our choices.
We want men to have more choice: bags with personality, made for a daily commute, a journey, or a gift that feels personal.

Top-grain cowhide meets microfiber
Our main leather designs combine top-grain cowhide with microfiber synthetic leather, bringing together the character and texture of genuine leather with the practicality of microfiber for everyday carry.

Our collection also includes styles made with PU, nylon, canvas, denim and DuPont paper. We select materials to suit each design and the demands of daily use, with close attention to quality, texture and finish.
